Healthy Cottage Cheese Dressing

Just wanted to share this, as a lot of people want a healthy, low calorie dressing. I love to use cottage cheese as a base for making one! It's low on fat and carbs, and high on protein.

When making dressings I usually add chopped red garlic, chives and a tiny bit of chili. Bit of salt and pepper, squeeze a bit of lemon or lime on top, and it's ready to go. Great with salads, in jacket potatoes and similar. What I love to do is make baked half potatoes and put this dressing on top of the flat side (among with guacamole), and have for dinner as well :)

Some people don't like the consistency of CC, which can be fixed easily with a blender.

One container of CC contains about 288 calories. I'd say I use about 1/3 of this for a portion, which makes it 96 calories.
1/3 of one container contains:
Fat: 4.3 g
Carbs: 1.5 g
Protein: 13 g
Vitamin A: 5.7%
Calcium: 3.3%
Iron: 1.2%
