how many ounces are technically in a glass of water?

i never know how to log my water. does everyone do 8 ounce glasses or what?

    I have always heard 8 oz in a glass. I drink water and protein shakes from a water bottle marked with ounce measurements.

    On MFP, I think the glass is considered 8 :)
