Having a spot of trouble? Losing motivation?

Hello there, MFP. Two days ago, I was 191 and went out to eat at a Chinese food place and only had seaweed salad. The next day, I was 195. Today I was 193.6. I noticed that my motivation was seriously hindered today, to the point where I didn't even exercise today, which is abnormal for me. Does anyone know how I can push through this mental barrier?

That much weight gain in that short of time is almost certainly water weight, most likely caused by the high sodium content of the food you ate. Totally irrelevant to your overall plan/goals. Stay on plan. Try not to let the short-term fluctuations affect your commitment to the overall goal.0
