    Pilates exercises are done more slowly, with a lot more focus on good form. The 30DS dvd, for me personally, asks you to do crunches in too quick succession for you to be able to suck your gut in a lot whilst you do it. You do suck it in a bit by breathing out as you crunch and in as you relax, but you do still notice your stomach pumping up a bit whilst you're doing them.
