Calorie Deficit? Net Calories!? CONFUSING MUCH!?

what is confusing me is that over the weekend (saturday and sunday) I did 0 excersize but I also didn't eat very much (purely because I wasn't that hungry) which resulted in my calorie intake being below my daily goal...
Is that good?
I've been trying to get my head around cal in - cal out and calorie deficits. What up with that!? I've been underweight my whole life, and dont really think me dropping kilo's is a healthy idea, I've finally got a figure (be it a slight one) and I'm coming to terms with that... what I do want though, is for that figure to stop jiggling when I drive over a bump in the road. I know what I'm after, so should I just ignore the whole calorie deficit idea & cals in - cals out mumbo jumbo?
I'm pretty sure my calorie goal is something to the tune of 1200 a day, I'm 5'7 and currently weigh 54kg's (119lbs)

You don't need to be losing any weight....you need to be getting some good exercise and eating healthier, every day. Logging what you're eating will help you do that, even if you ignore deficits and net calories, since you're not trying to lose. And please....eat more than 1200 calories a day...you need to fuel your body to be healthy. Best wishes!0

Ruby, you need a good resistance program - 3 x per week. At the gym preferably so you have access to weights. Alternatively a bodyweight resistance program from home. No more jiggles!!0

While I would love to be able to get to a gym unfortunately is just not that easy for me. I'm not that cluey on fitness related stuff
so I googled is this the type of body weight resistance I should be looking at making a routine out of?

Yes that would be good. You luckily are already trim just need to work those muscles to get rid of the jiggles. Good luck with it.0
