I need some tips!

I'm going to post this here as well..
So I'm going on a holiday next month to beautiful Mauritius with about 20 other people. We've booked out an apartment complex on the beach and that picture in my ticker will be our backyard for 3 and half weeks! I'm so excited and have been looking forward to it for a long time. However, I know that I am not going to enjoy my time there if I dont even want to walk out of the bedroom. I know I'll be miserable unless I'm confident enough on the beach.
I really dont have much time left and I vowed, that after not doing any exercise for a very long time, I need to make daily trips to the gym. I know I wont reach my GW in just over a month, but I just wanted to know if anyone has any tips on how I can shed the weight even just a tiny bit faster..
Any help would be really appreciated!
Thanks, x

whats your weight right now?
Just focus on your calorie deficit. no need to go extreme, but you could probably drop 5-7 lbs in that time pretty comfortably.
There are extreme methods to drop a lot more, but long term are no good.
hit the gym, or more so the weights. and use interval training, short but very intense to help with the deficit...
chrisdavey would be an excellent person to chat to with such a short time frame for your goal. hunt him down0 -
Heavy! haha.
70 + kg.
I'll give what you said a go, but I;m really confused as to whether I need more weight training or cardio. I;ve heard so many different things, but I guess it just depends on the person?
Thanks for the help and I sent a message off to him!0 -
Honestly, I'd think about trying the 30 Day Shred because I notice a difference in my body quite quickly when I do it
Exercise is key, because even if you aren't losing a bunch of weight, you'll look/feel "tighter" and it'll make it easier for you to let go and enjoy the (beautiful, BEAUTIFUL) beach.0 -

I actually might consider this. Going to do a bit more research now0 -

Tip one: it doesn't matter HOW MUCH you work out before, most likely, you won't be able to get to your goal before you go. Therefore do what you can do now, and not worry about it.
Tip two: Worry about what you do eat on the trip. Log in and try to keep track.
tip three: If you are riding a car, or a plan..Don't count on staying on the plan..o_o I know from experince. Rather, worry about it later. One day of dad eatting won't hurt much and chances are you will maintain.
I am not saying you shouldn't do all you can now, I am just saying to enjoy you're time at the beach. It doesn't matter what your body looks like. Remember this is a life style change. It won't happen in one night.0 -

Thanks for the advice. I know that I wont reach my goal by then and I dont expect it. I will try and enjoy my holiday but there are a lot of reasons why I'm going to be self conscious..
I wont be able to log while I'm over there but I know I should be fine and I'll be pretty active over there so I'll burn off a lot of what I eat each day.0
