no gym but yes to 30 days shred

hi! :) i posted a topic here about two weeks i think. to give a little background, i am 160lbs. i want to lose 40lbs. i do not have an active lifestyle. i eat a lot especially junk foods and sweets. anyways, i used to go to the gym. but after 8 sessions in the gym, i got lazy. i do not want to go back there anymore because i often find myself working hard then eating more.

at present, my plan is to do the 30 days shred because i have seen so many success stories by real people. i am hoping that i can continue this 30ds and see results. i will do the 30ds with of course a healthy diet.

is my decision right? if anyone is also starting or just started 30ds, i will be more than willing to be with you. i need buddies through this journey. hehe let us help and motivate each other! :)

today is my day2. and still i cant do push ups. :(

good luck to all of us! :)

Hi!!! I started the 30 day shred a couple of months ago (stopped when i went on holiday but startin back today!!!) I found that i tdid work i lost 12inches overall after 20 days!!!! But... i did find that when doing the shred my weight loss was not so much! When i originally started the shred i was also doing slimming world!! I have now decided that i will stick at the 'myfitnesspal' and try the 30 days shred!! I have just joined the gym but i hat the gym i go for the classes but obviously these are not everyday!!! G

Give the shred a go, also if you have cable/sky tv there is a fitness channel which has all Jillians other DVD's!!

    Hope this helps!x

Plenty of 30 day shreders on here! There's a group of us who started at the beginning of August, and keep each other motivated - if you look under the Groups heading you'll find us, and you'd be very welcome to join us.

    BUT

All the exercise in the world wont help if your diet isn't good. That's where you need to focus first.
