For awhile now I have been using alli to help with my weight loss and I have decided to stop using it and do it on my own. My question is will it be hard now to lose it on my own since my body has gotten use to the help with the pills?

I don't think they work anyway. You are just filing your body with rubbish. You would do better to save your money and boost your metabolism through cardio and strength training.0

I've done some reading on Alli and from my understanding they mainly act as a deterent in eating high fat foods but on there own they dont actually cause any weight loss. As long as you can stay motivated to eat well and to exercise you should have absolutely no problems with your weight loss imo. Congrats on giving them up I think you're making a wise decision!0

You may have a period of time that is tough while your body adjusts to being back to normal, but it will only be for a time. Take care of yourself and make sure you are eating the proper amount of calories and nutrients and your body will get back to normal!0

I believe Alli forces you to keep to a low fat diet. So if you keep eating low fat you will probably be ok. It will be a bit trial and error for a while but you will find a healthy balance eventually.
There are a lot of people on here who could probably give you advice. Try the search feature in Community you may find others who have dumped the diet pills and are now doing it the healthy way.
Kudos to you for getting off them and realising that you need to be able to sustain your weight loss in a healthy way.
I agree with the poster that suggested heavy lifting, it is the fastest way to see changes in your body composition but everyone has to find what is right for them so try lots of different things and I am sure you will find something that suits you.0
