So I am officially 20 pounds away from my goal weight of 150. My ultimate goal weight is in the 130's however. I have my calorie goal set at 1 pound per week and was wondering when I should move it to .5 pounds a week?

if you are still losing on a weekly basis then i would say change it at 5-7lbs before goal (thats what i did).
if you are stuck, then try changing it sooner to mix things up a bit.0 -
I am 13lb away from my target and recently upped my calories from 1400 to 1700
I am still losing 1lb a week at this level and I get to eat more - YAY!
Well done on your loss so far xx0 -
Doesn't MFP automatically prompt you to change your goals every 10 pounds?
I know it prompted me not too long ago.0 -
I'm thinking about this too. But I decided I want to hit my initial target goal and celebrate FIRST and then drop down to my ultimate goal. Right now I'm almost at a 20 year low (should hit this week, knock on wood). My initial goal is 5 lbs less than that. I figure I'll celebrate.
But then I'll keep going and see if I can hit my ultimate goal, which is 10 lbs less.0
