NSV

For me this was a total NSV. Something I couldn't have done 50 pounds ago. Yesterday I decided to push myself on my weekend hike. So instead of the usual 3 hours and eight miles I did six hours and sixteen miles. At the end of it I was exhausted and felt like passing out or puking, though I did neither, but I was amazed with myself! Four months ago a sixteen mile hike would have been out of the question. Going six hours non stop wouldn't have been something I considered. Now....pfft, I got this! Ill be doing it every other weekend until Im not ready to die and then doing it every weekend as part of building up my stamina and endurance. I love knowing I can do this more than seeing my scale go down, I must say!
