fitbit ultra question

I have a fitbit ultra and it "counts" steps and calories while I drive. This is an issue because I drive about 2.5 hours a day.
Can someone please tell me how to fix this so my fitbit can be accurate? Is there a way to turn off the fitbit ultra while driving?
Thank you!

Log that time as driving on the FitBit site and it will zero out those steps.0

You need to go onto your fitbit dashboard and log the times you were driving in the activity section
Once you do this it takes off any extra steps you gained during the times you were driving x0
