Friend Invitations

I seem to get a lot of random invitations to be friends on MFP. I'm not a "friend collector" and I take my "friend" responsibilites very seriously and I like to give each one individual attention so I don't want my list to be too large. I therefore tend to choose friends that I have things in common with but I also don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. I'd like to know what happens if I decide to decline a friend invitation - is that person notified that I don't want to be friends?

No, they are not notified...You probably won't hear from them again. Unless you post half nekkid pics.

I agree with you. Too many friends and you cant keep up with them. I dont clooect them either.

I declined one today because she had almost 400 "friends". Huh ??? I prefer a managable number that are mutually supportive.

I agree. One on one is personal and supportive. Everyone knows their own personal limit on how many freinds they can support.
