How do you compute marinades?

I made a nice marinade for some chicken breasts to grill and want to add it to my food diary. I can make a recipe for the marinade, but how would you compute the number of servings? Even if you divide it evenly between 4 chicken breasts, some of it always stays in the bowl where you were marinading and then you lose some again on the grill...
