not enough fiber?

Hi there! I just joined this webside 2 days ago and I am very exited. I want to loose about 10 lbs. I've already lost about 30 but we all know how the last 10 lbs is the most difficoult so I decided to get some help here. Anyway ... set my goal and got the calory limit. After two days I don't find it difficoult to meet the limit, I even eat about 100-200 cal less. Yeah me! So ... I checked the Full Report and I was shocked to see that I eat about 16-17 gr of fiber a day. I think it is not enough. The thing is that I eat a lot of veg so I thought that in this department I should be fine. I guess not. Anyway, could you reconmend me some fiber rich foods? I already eat quinoa and grains and beans so I don't know what to add.

I just double checked it. Loads fine for me.
Basically, suggested intake of fiber is 14g per 1000 calories.
So, 1500 calories would be 21g, 2000 calories would be 28g.0 -

Hmmmmm I read that a woman shoudl eat about 25 g and man 35 g of fiber a day and that western people generally eat below 15 g. I am confused now.

Aye, those numbers scale properly with the average calorie intake of a man and a woman. And most people do get too little fiber.
I am a huge fan of fiber... and still don't get enough. It's tough! MORE BROCCOLI!!!!0 -
