crossfit shooting

Anyone incorporate shooting into crossfit and/or plyo?

Did this mini crossfit shooting workout at the range yesterday--- it...was...awesome. The idea is to work on your shot with an elevated heartrate and shaky muscles.


CROSSFIT SHOOTING DAY ONE:

Round 1) 9 30 yard wind sprint runs/20 squats/10pushups/shoot 5 hits (must be on target to count.).

Round 2) 7 30 yard wind sprint runs/20 squats/10pushups/shoot 5 hits(must be on target to count.).

Round 3) 5 30 yard wind sprint runs/20 squats/10pushups/shoot 5 hits(must be on target to count.).

Then we did 2 competition rounds of:

Competition Round) 5 30 yard wind sprint runs/20 squats/10pushups/shoot 5 hits.
**whoever got the furthest shot from the bullseye had to do planks for 10x the number of inches from the bulls eye.

Granted this was more like plyo than crossfit-- we are doing day two with box jumps, burpees, and setting up our bikes on our trainers for an added cardio.

Just thought you may be interested...for those of you who want to be ready for the apocolypse. baha!

    haha- it's stinkin awesome. I can't wait to take my bike to the range next time...i can only imagine how shaky i'll be after 10 1 min intervals on the bike.
