I bought some natural peanut butter the other day and divided it up into three small containers so it would be easier to stir. The jar said to stir it then refrigerate. Is is really necessary to refrigerate? I didn't. The only ingredient is peanut butter.

The reason to refridgerate is to keep it from separating again.:wink:  :flowerforyou:

I don't refrigerate it, but go through it very quickly, so don't really need to stir it.

Oh good. I figured it was because of the separation issue. I didn't think it would spoil and cause food poisoning because it's only peanuts but I wanted to make sure. Thanks for your responses.
