Best wishes to you on your restart! I am restarting again too, it doesn't seem to get any easier with each try but I'm going to keep trying until I succeed!0
-
I'm right there with you. As I type this, I have a song running through my head from the Christmas show....argh! I can't think of the name of the show!! The song goes something like, "put one foot in front of the other and soon you'll be walking out the door.." Welcome back!0

Add me if you want and good luck. Well done on having a plan and wanting to restart. I need to lose 50lb and have been umming and aahing about exercise. I'm ok with the daily cals of 1220 but trying to do too much exercise to lose 2lbs per week. Its not really working as I have lowered my immune system again so need to start out slowly and eat as healthy as I can.0

Hi Everyone,
I'm new to this site. Just read a very inspiring story in Woman's World magazine about a lady that found and used tis site to help her stay on track and I thought I would give it a try as nothing else is working...wish me luck!0 -
Yes, restarting again here too... I have about 40 pounds to lose and just keep putting it off. I am committed this time; however, and have started on my elliptical again. So here we go - good luck to all of us!0
-
Congratulations on coming back. If you would like an extra friend, you can add me! I am on my second round of weight loss as well. I still have about 30 pounds to go.0

I am restarting today. I was told I couldn't exercise till after surgery...8 pounds later and they have pushed the surgery back and told me that I should lose about 10 pounds to take some pressure off my veins. And the only exericise I can do is swimming... I need the encouragement!0

I know what you mean. I spent the last month eating and drinking whatever I wanted. UGGGGGGG.
Today up at 630 am to exercise and logging food again.0 -
I know I need to restart but as much as part of me wants to, the other power is overpowering me. I think a lot of mine has to do with working night shift. I know that is an excuse but it is incredibly hard to get a routine down when I work night shift and (not only that) but do not work set days. Good for you. I am hoping to be right there with you soon!0

Good Luck!!
I'm restarting too...
Lost 40 pounds for my wedding back in March and have already gained 20 back...
I probably won't be pushing myself as hard as i did before the wedding...but I also can't slack off...
We're in this TOGETHER!0 -
The important thing is to keep getting back in the game. You can do this! Good luck to you. Add me if you'd like. :-)0

Please Add me if you'd like:happy:0 -
I have been restarting every Monday lately. During the week I do well, but the weekends are just too tempting for me. I end up working all week to make up for the damage over the weekend. I read something today saying that when you cheat, you cheat yourself. Let's all restart and make this week the one that helps us keep on going to reach our goal weight. We can do it!!! Good luck everyone.0

wow so much support! Thanks everyone I wish you all the best too! WE CAN DO IT!!! I am going to say that every time I am tempted by sweet and fats... I CAN I CAN I CAN!0

I restarted today as well! LET'S GO!0

I restarted yesterday, and was depressed to see I started a pound heavier than last time I "restarted".0

I have been here for 7 weeks now, I log in everyday and try to offer help and advice when and where needed. Feel free to add me0

one day at a time...one decision at a time. that's all it takes.
the only thing you can do with the past is learn from it. think about why you have struggled...think about what you can do to help avoid those struggles in the future. plan ahead.
oh, and I strongly recommend only weighing yourself first think in the morning...after the morning bathroom use and before you eat anything. Its the most consistent reading you will get because its difficult to duplicate your day, each day.
best of luck to you0 -
Best of luck and do your best. Once you've done that you will be proud of yourself0

Good thing about restarting. You have the tools aready.
This is my second time around. 2 years ago, also starting in May, I did this. I am losing weight at the same pace as last time. This time I am less worried about stuff. And I am determined to log for a year. Get it all done this time, then work on maintenance. That is where I had problems the last time.
You will do fine. Pace yourself and celebrate every victory.0 -

Been there! I stepped on the scale for the first time after having a year long relapse into old habits. I'd gained 40 pounds, and I've taken 6 months to get rid of them again.
You can do it, just take it one day, even one meal at a time. Slow and steady really does win.0 -
I restarted last week. Tough and slow going for me - but I think the key is that I restarted. Never give up, right? I've lost 4 of the 7 pounds I regained while not logging or exercising (I got lazy and then had a medical issue) which is great and encouraging. Good luck everyone, we can all do this!0
-
I restarted last week. I lost 55 lbs about 2 years ago and it has all shown back up again. And it brought a few friends back with it. I will weigh tonight. Praying that one week shows some encouraging results because I am really wanting some chocolate right now.
Good luck on your journey.0 -
Anyone looking for motivation, advice and support feel free to add and message me anytime!!! I know how tough this journey is and after the long journey myself I love to help others on theirs!!!!!!!0

Each time I feel motivated & focused I allow life bumps to get in the way. Tend to take care of everyone else. Trying, not perfect, to make myself a priority again. Baby steps. Small changes. I will improve not expecting perfection!0
