intermittent fasting (IF)

Hello everyone,

Just saw some clips from the BBC documentary Horizon on fasting and its possible health benefits. Does anyone have any more insight into this? What are your thoughts and experiences? How do you do it? Do you think it's good for your health? Has it helped you to lose weight?

    I have been loosly sticking to intermittent fasting for the last 2 months or so. I feel that it makes it easier for me to stay under my calories. I think it is more of a personal choice then the key to weight lose. For me I am not hungry in the morning and I love to eat a lot of food at night so it fits my life style. I try to follow the advice on www.leangains.com I simply skip breakfast and have a very late lunch. I don't get hugry during the day and I can eat a whole lot at night. I can not speak to the health benifits.
