    Married first time for 12.5 years. Divorced and met my current (and LAST) husband online 1-1/2 years later. Dated long distance for almost 2 years and we've been happily married for 5 1/2 years.

    I am the luckiest man in the world, 16 years married to my kindred soul, and the most beautiful, wonderful woman. She left for ZUMBA convention on Sunday and after 2 days I can't stand being without her. Luckily I will be flying down to meet her on Thursday.

    It seems to me that marriage these days is a waste of time and energy. Don't get me wrong I get the whole committing yourself to one person. But why should we envolve the goverment? Like someone else said, "single because I can't afford the divorce" , it is so true! I got my marriage certificate for $40, and to get divorced 10 years later I need $3000 before a lawyer will even take the first step! And that is just for starters!
