I am joining a LA Fitness this evening after work! I am really excited about it. When I was in the market for a new apartment one of the requirements was the complex have a fitness room. Well I have yet to step foot in the fitness room and I have lived in my new apartment since the begining of June! I think I just don't have the motivation to go to it once I get home. I am more of a work out before work or go straight to the gym after work before home. Anyway, I am know this is a long shot but I was just wondering if anyone on here possibly uses the LA Fitness in Alpharetta, GA. I would love to have someone help keep me motivated :flowerforyou:

    I don't use the LA Fitness in Alpharetta, but am excited that there is someone else from metro ATL on this site! I am from Cartersville, GA. which is about an hour from Alpharetta..and I went to college in Dahlonega. Just thought I would say hello!

    That is exciting that you are in the metro area! I was in Dahlonega just on Saturday, it was so pretty up there with the leaves. I went to high school in Dawsonville, so have been all over the area too. BTW your doggie is very cute.

    Thanks! she is rotten..lol. I loved going to North Ga. and Dahlonega is beautiful especially this time of year...i miss being up there the most during the fall. I used to work at the Outlet mall in Dawsonville and also at the Smith House in Dahlonega when I was in school...I graduated and moved home in 2004, I bet Dawsonville has grown so much since I've been up there....

    I worked at the outlet mall too for about 2 years while in high school. It has changed quite a bit around there. I mean even when I lived there we had to either go to Dahlonega or Cumming to go to Walmart. Now Dawsonville has everything.

    Dawsonville has a WalMart??????? what store did u work at? I worked at the Time Factory (it is no longer there) it was between Banana Republic and Zales. I haven't been up there in about 4 years or so I probably wouldn't know where I was at!

    I worked at Blowout Video (also no longer there) and Williams Sonoma. You wouldn't believe that area now. They have liquor stores and bars, a movie theater, all kinds of restaurants and stores other than the mall.
