Suggestion on buying a HRM that won't break the bank?

I would like to workout using a HRM because from what I can tell it will give me the most accurate numbers from my workout. I know you get what you pay for but since I'm still kind of new to all this I don't want to spend a ton of money just yet. Unless I hear that I need to just bite the bullet and invest. Suggestions????
