I don't have a basement, but my laundry room is a little room at the back of my carport, and it's FILLED with spiders. I'm not afraid of spiders, but it's been a little uneasy finding 3 black widows in there within the last week.0

I watched too many horror movies growing up. My basement is unfinished and I think a snake or something evil will drop on my head or something. It hasnt happened yet0

My wife takes spider duty. I take snakes, lizards, and pretty much anything else - just not the spiders.0

I have a HORRIBLE fear of spiders...little ones, or those that stay out of my way are okay. For instance, there is a writing spider with a GORGEOUS web outside the drive up window at my office (converted bank branch). She's out there, she catching bugs that might want to get inside...she can stay. But those big ole tarantula looking f-ers that come up in my house from the woods out back-NO THANK YOU! Even my cats are afraid of them.
Conversely, I am the only female in my family that is brave enough to venture into the basement at my grandparents' house. They both passed away last year, so cleaning out the house when all my uncles live out of town is a REAL joy. I'm scared to go down there-terrified in fact- since it's unfinished and my PawPaw has found snakes down there before. But, someone has to do it! I just wish it was someone other than me!0 -

and frankly, the pics/videos of spiders that have been posted on here give me the freaking heebie jeebies...i'm literally in my desk chair with both feet of the floor. I think i'll be wigged out the rest of the day!0
