Yesterday, I had a six month checkup with my primary care doctor. It was literally six months to the day. The SV came when the nurse first weighed me in...I was at 194lbs. Granted, I was wearing a sweater, a belt and jeans and probably woulda weighed less naked, but I was happy to get my weight logged 'in the system' at a lower weight! She then entered my weight in the system and said that since the last time I got weighed, I have lost 15% of my total body weight! AWESOME!

The NSV came in when my doctor walked in after the nurse left- his mouth dropped and he actually said "HOLY S***T! You look GREAT!" and then went on about how this is going to be his easiest appointment of the day because of how healthy I look. I am a 6'0'' female with a large body frame, and he said that even though I am 'overweight' technically in terms of BMI that I have a lot of muscle and he thinks I'm at a healthy weight for my size. He told me that for girls of my size, BMI and 'average weight' is not really good to go by since we are on the extreme end and the 'average weight' is so different based on your frame.

My goal is to weigh somewhere between 170 and 175 next time I go for my checkup in six months :)
