1200 Calorie Meal Plan

So I'm starting to eat 1200 calories a day which will be breakfast, lunch, dinner & 2 snacks in between meals.
Obviously, I know I need to make healthy decisions but it's easier for me if I have the whole week planned out so if I'm in a hurry I can just look and see what I need to throw together. I'm looking for suggestions on what type of meals and snacks I should eat. Preferably nothing that takes too long to make because I'm not a great cook and dont have much time for cooking.

Salmon doesn't take to long to cook up. Also yogurt parfaits are easy to make.0

I eat fruit in between meals. Almonds are a good snack, too, just watch the calories.
I usually have coffee, a banana, and instant oatmeal or Cream of Wheat for breakfast.
For lunch, you can do a sandwich on 50 calorie bread with sandwich meat.
I usually have enough for a decent dinner: chicken breast, hamburger meat with beans or a salad, angel hair pasta with sauce.0 -
When I was new to MFP, I did a lot of pre-planning. Now, I don't do as much, mainly because I have a better sense of how to keep my macronutrients (protein; carbs; fats) in balance while giving myself some flexibility. If you eat a main meal a day, as MacPatti stated she does, you might want to plan that out a week in advance, so you have everything on hand.
Pre-planning helps me get through some tough evenings. Sometimes sitting down to pre-log makes me less inclined to evening eating, which tends to be a problem for me.0 -
We usually buy filets of salmon, throw one on a pan and season it very simply (salt, pepper, a little bit of olive oil if you want), and either dice vegetables to bake around it or use a bag of vegetables from the grocery store (our local one has a "Tuscan Blend" that goes really well with the salmon).
It's simple and takes minimal preparation (and clean up!). If I use fresh vegetables, I just weigh them as I cut them up and the we split the salmon so we buy it in whatever ounce increments we want to eat for a meal..0
