Intermittent Fasting and Yes It Works

i have been doing for about 2 months now and i really have to say it works,

i will put some links and info about it, but basically , you fast (water only, some people juice) from anywhere 18 to 20 hours a day. And with a 6 to 8 hour period of the day, you eat the calories that you need for the entire day, i have benefited from it greatly, with my exercise i am loosing anywhere from 6 to 12lbs a week, and i dont get hungry until around 3pm, and im good for the rest of the day.

here are a few links that will explain it better

6 to 12 lbs a week?? You gotta have alot to lose, and your 6-8 hour eating window is probably way less now then what you were eating before you started skipping meal times.. Glad its working for you

Interesting stuff. I'm not usually into gimmicky diet stuff, but this makes sense to me,personally. I'm not hungry in the morning. I just had half a tuna sandwich because I couldn't muster up the appetite to eat the whole thing. I'm hungrier in the afternoons and evening, and there have been quite a few days where I find myself, if only I hadn't eaten so much for lunch I could have more for dinner. What the least amount of time one can fast in the day?

What is your definition of "it works"? Are you burning fat (healthy weight loss)? Are you building lean muscle? The scale may say 12 lbs lost this week, but what does your body fat composition test say? Fasting is a great way to quickly drop weight i.e. a high school wrestler trying to make weight before state championship or a boxer trying to make weight before a fight. Or if you have an office pool and the "biggest loser" wins the $2,000 pot.

Show me a fast that diabetics can do or one that will drop my body fat % and myself and 400+ people will sign up today!!!

I was reading a lot about intermittent fasting over the weekend everything i read made complete sense today is my first day it big plus that i dont have to buy anything just choose a eating window 4, 6, 8, hours or 24 hours 2x a week use that window to get you calories in and if your gonna workout do it before you eat. from what i read alot of body builders use intermittent fasting to shred fat while at the same time keep muscle mass. according to my reading no muscle loss happens while intermittent fasting.
