I'm a Newbie But Not for Long

Just joined today. I am over weight and under exercised, Sound familiar?
I am 65 years young and ready to change my life, Exercise and eating plans
and are at the top of my list . My goal is not to be skinny, but to be healthy .
I love to cook and eat but realized I have been eating the wrong things all my life.
Since I don't snack and eat a lot of junk foods, I must be eating the wrong foods
and need to exercise.
I would appreciate any tips anyone has on "Motivation" and getting started. Thanks,
