Bob Harper's _Are You Ready!_

So, I've been reading Bob Harper's book, _Are You Ready!_, and one part that struck a chord with me (though it seems so obvious and intuitive, maybe even a little over-simplified) is the following bit:
"Anyone trying to lose weight and get in shape has to get back in touch with who they truly are - and that doesn't mean what they don't like about themselves. It's the exact opposite: It means finding one part of you that you love and admire."
He goes on to talk more about this, and encourages his readers to name that one thing.
So, I sat...and thought. And thought. And it occurred to me:
One thing that I really love about myself is the fact that I'm creative with my hands. I can do ANYTHING with these hands, and indeed have dabbled in just about every form of artwork that is out there. I HAVE AWESOME HANDS!!!!
The funny part, though, is that I haven't DONE anything artistic in years. Since I had the twins, actually. Four years ago.
So...BAM!...I've decided that the next step in my weight loss journey has nothing to do with weight loss or fitness, necessarily...at least not PHYSICAL fitness. I'm committing to busting out the paints or pencils or charcoal or ink at some point this week. I've always thought I'd do a portrait of my kids someday. But have never attempted it.
What do YOU like most about yourself?

I am a professional face painter and really want to get a lot better and do more body painting. As I lose weight I feel much more confident in myself.
