Hi Guys..I'm 2 months into MFP and have lost 29 pounds so far. While I am ecstatic with this loss I feel my enthusiasm flagging a little bit. Now that I am fitting into my old clothes, my brain seems to whispering to me that its ok to skip a day or two of workouts and worse, I seem to be listening to it. What I could do with now are friends who will spur me on and to someone whom I feel accountable..I promise I'll do it for you too..
So if you can kick my butt and cheer me on? I promise I'll be one step ahead and do a barn dance for you..You can count on me for support..:)
Feel free to add me..I have so much more to lose..
Niko

Time to have a week of pumping up your motivation BEFORE it runs out, otherwise you'll end up running on fumes and itll be MUCH harder to restart your car.
Ways to do this?
pick up a couple health and fitness magazines or a new cookbook
clean out your kitchen cabinets and rearrange all the ingredients stuff you wished you used more
make a giant calendar for august with stickers or pushpins or big black sharpies and write your plans and accomplishments ALL OVER IT
Make a motivation wall
or Goal Central
Get a new workout outfit
or a new playlist for cardio
pick up something you can use at home instead of the gym
run a brand new route
spend a couple hours on nerdfitness.com leveling up
take before pictures and all your current measurements besides your weight
take a fun new class, like boxing
there are a million motivating things you can do NOW that will save you from running on empty later
good luck!0 -
