Shame they used a girl using girlie weights but it's all good.. it had my husband supporting my choice of weight lifting! lol

    People who exercise are less likely to develop type II diabetes, which is a bit like saying the sun is hot. Because people who exerciseare generally going to eat healthier foods.

    Reversing or curing type 2 diabetes already occurs, irregardless of exercise.

    You know type 2 was called middle age diabetes, and then people in early adult life got it. Now children develop type 2. It's poor diet and sugary foods perpetuated by the food industry and it makes me mad.

    lol very true.. changes in diets over the decades have def occurred.

    I must admit I was grateful to hear my husband point it out.. he has felt a bit strange about my return to the gym I think.. I used to weight train when we first met and my previous partner was a body builder...he's never really felt comfortable about his being very different. I did offer for him to come and train with me.. and kick my a** lol. Perhaps he'll consider it. :)
