Just need a bit of advice....

2 weeks go i lost 7 pounds, but this week i only lost 3, i weight myself every Sunday, but i sneakily weighed myself today and ive stayed the same weight! Is this normal? I have been introducing exercise into it now so that might be it? Or am i expecting to much to soon?

  • The same thing happens to me every now and then. Typically, I weigh myself every Friday morning under the same exact conditions, but every so often I get curious and weigh myself a few days early and I find out I haven't lost any weight. The only thing I would suggest would be to get into a habit of only weighing yourself once a week. I wouldn't think the exercise would make much of a difference. I doubt you would gain 4 pounds of muscle in such a short time, but I'm no expert. Maybe you just had a bigger dinner the night before or had a lot of water in your system. Whatever the reason may be, from now on if you can have the self control and self discipline to exercise and eat right then remember that you also have to control when you step on the scale.
