Move Over Mc Frappe

I just love a good frappe, but of course clocking in over 500 calories with zero nutritional value just won't cut it so I came up with a much better version, here's my recipe:
6 oz. unsweetend almond milk
1 scoop vanilla whey protein (I used Jillian Michaels - 100 calories per scoop)
1 -2 T. Sugar Free Hershey's syrup

I put these items into my bullet belnder and mix well, but we're not done yet.

Now I add 6 cubes of frozen cold brew coffee (pre-crushed if possible) for a total of 6 ounces
lastly add 1 teaspoon sugar free pudding mix (any flavor you like), I've been using white chocolate. You could also add some stevia or sweetener of choice if you need more that what comes from the pudding & syrup.

Blend well and you have a protein packed frappe for 151 calories and you can create endless flavor combinations based on the protein powder flavor, pudding flavor or the addition of pure extracts you like.
You could also leave the coffee and syrup out and use frozen fruit with this same method for a great smoothy.

I'm sure someone will ask about cold brewing coffee so here's how I make mine: http://www.thenourishinggourmet.com/2012/05/how-to-cold-brew-coffee.html and I dillute 1:1 with water before freezing.

I made a not as low calorie version. 12 oz of International Delights Iced Coffee, 1 scoop of Optimum Nutrition Natural Vanilla Whey and ice cubes. I also love Click Protein Powder Vanilla Latte flavor but it is a but pricey. I personally cannot do almond milk but good job on finding a lower calorie alternative!!
