Sprint iPhone - Who's got it?
Okay I'm do for an upgrade and I've been with Sprint forever. I love their everything data plan because it's pretty reasonable in price. I was looking at getting the iPhone but it looks like it is only a 3G phone. I already have a LG 3G phone and it sucks. I'm nervous to upgrade because I don't want to be stuck with a crappy phone for another 2 yrs. I'd love some feedback if you have it.
If you don't have it tell me what you do have and how much you pay? I have 3 phone lines so if I switch I have to switch all 3 lines.

Yes, it's a 3G phone. I'm a former Sprint employee so what I pay monthly is not applicable to you unless you're in a similar situation.
i would wait until the iPhone5 is unveiled in September (rumored). Then make a decision from there.0 -
one of my bosses has the iphone 4s with sprint and it is waayyyyy quicker than my 3g motorola droid on verizon. I can usually pull up the weather channel on his phone before i can even get the address typed into my droid's browser.
And yes, at this point, I would wait until the iphone 5 or whatever its gonna be called...0 -
Thanks! I think I'll wait a little while longer to see if the iPhone 5 is coming out this fall. Usually whenever I upgrade the next best phone comes out a few months later.0

I just got my iPhone 4S through Sprint a few months ago because my BlackBerry crapped the bed and I needed a phone. I absolutely love it and I don't have any issues with it being slow.
I'm not sure what "new" bells and whistles the 5 is going to have or if it will actually be released when they say it is. Do your research and get what is right for you.
Also with regards to the 3G, it's really not slow. I know people who have 4G phones and the coverage for 4G right now is minimal so they're basically wasting money on it.
I'd say Sprint is the best bang for your buck as far as their data plans go. You can't beat unlimited everything for $80/per month.0 -

Thanks for your feedback. Yeah I do like Sprints plan because I have that now with 3 phones and it's cheaper than ATT or Verizon. We do lose signal if we are up north depending on where we are but it's not a huge deal. We'll see what happens. My husband is up for renewal in Sept and mine is in Oct so we'll wait and see what's happening with the iPhone5 and go from there.0 -
We have sprint and we have 5 phones on our plan. I have the iphone 4, my daughter has the iphone 4s and my boyfriend and his son have the Gallaxy II S epic 4g. My iphone is 3g and the internet is way faster than his with the 4g so I dont get the big deal with 4g. Also the difference between the iphone 4 and iphone 4s is basically suri and I didnt want to pay an extra $100 for a feature i would barely use. Her phone has a 8 mp camera and mine is a 5 but we see no difference! My son is waiting for the iphone 5 in september but I dont think that will be all that much better from what I hear anyway. Who knows.0

Thanks for the feedback. It's nice to know that you don't see any difference between your 3g and his 4g. I was worried about that because I have 3g now but my phone is soooo slow and my apps always shut down on me for no reason. Oh and my phone randomly shuts down and reboots whenever it feels like it. Pretty annoying! I would use the siri feature so I'd have to get that phone. Looks like for the price we'll probably stay with Sprint but we'll wait to see if the iPhone 5 really is coming out and what the differencs are. If nothing else it'll drive the price of the iPhone 4s down. Or at least I hope it would.0
