I need some advice on dealing with sensitivities to artificial colors, flavors, gluten, wheat, lactose. My allergist tested for food allergies, and it came up negative.. yet something is going on. I continue to have problems. Hives for one. Other Tests have come up inconclusive. So I'm aggravated and frustrated.

Try an elimination diet, where you exclude all allergenic foods and slowly add them back in to determine what you are sensitive to. Be aware that dairy can take up to 3 weeks to completely leave your system. A friend of mine did the elimination diet and discovered that she can not eat wheat, soy, beans of any kind, tomatoes, peppers, and eggplant. She also discovered that one child could not eat wheat, another could not eat dairy, and her husband could not tolerate yeast.0
