I've finally lost a dress size!

Well, it may have taken 42 pounds but I have finally lost a dress/trouser size. I've gone from a UK 18 to a 16 (in most clothes).

I started at 215.5 pounds:

I'm now at about 172 ish pounds

    You held your weight very well...You dressed nice to so you really couldn't tell that it was all that bad. Until your shown the pic of you next to that skinny chic:tongue:

    You can really see the difference now with the little waist line in the cute dress pic. Good for you! I see you still like to party:drinker:

    I think clothing sizes are a great way to measure success!

    I remember dropping a size in jeans and saying to a friend that I was going to go out and buy the same pair I had, but a size smaller. It didn't make sense to her since the old jeans still fit, but I was like "If I can be a size smaller, I am wearing a size smaller!"

    It's a great feeling!

    The skinny chick is my sister...good motivation that one. I was probably at my biggest in that picture too!

    I don't party nearly as much as I used to, but I still do when it's a good cause. Both the 'now' pics are two weddings we went to last week. :smile:

    20 more or so pounds to go, and it is (as expected) all getting a lot slower now, but I think, due to all the good advice on here, I am realistic about this! :flowerforyou:
