35 mile charity bike ride-- How to train?

I registered for the Bridge Pedal in Portland, Oregon (Sunday Aug 12) intending to do the 24 mile ride, but I accidentally clicked on the 35 mile ride instead. I've never ridden that distance, however, I do ride 20 miles at a stretch on pretty regular basis (several times a week).

Should I ride more, less, none prior to the ride? It isn't a race, it's just a fun ride for charity. I need some advice on how to prepare my body for considerably more endurance than I'm used to.

If you do 20 miles several times a week I'd be quite surprised if 35 miles was any kind of a stretch to be honest.

I normally do 12-15 miles a day (on a road bike, fairly fast), and find when I double this 25-30 miles on a Saturday that there was essentially no noticeable difference and I don't get tired at all.

Ride as normal in the run-up, just maybe don't do a big leg weights session in the preceding two days so there's no muscle soreness!
