up 7lbs in a month

I got depressed, couldn't/ didn't want to work out, eating crap. feeling super bad and un-motivated, don't even know how to start again. I had been doing so well, was down 20lbs. hard fought, I was able to run 2 miles. I haven't ran in 3 weeks. what do I do?

Get back to it. You have to do this in the chaos of life. No easy answers here.

You start doing it again. You already know you're capable; you were doing it just three weeks ago. So do that stuff again, starting today. And remember how bad going back to those old unhealthy habits makes you feel.

What do you do? I see you having 2 options. You can keep going the way you are OR you can do what you know you should do. The only person that is going to make you is you. So, just do it already OR don't.

I completely and TOTALLY sympathize. I've been on a roller coaster this year because of personal things causing me stress. Just recently, I quit for 5 days and started today.

The first thing you have to do is remind yourself that you are worth every ounce you've lost - you're worth the blood, sweat, and tears you've put into it.
The next thing you have to realize is that no one is going to do it for you.
The next next thing is that how ever hard your life may be, there are rewards, even small ones, in every day life.

Then - find something to kick you in the a** - step on a scale, try on an article of clothing in your ideal size, look at yourself naked, find old photos and be shocked at how far you've come... and find the motivation again!

This is something I've struggled with for the last two months - and I've been stuck at my current weight for the last two months. You deserve it.

You start today, and either get back to what you did to lose 20 lb. in the first place, or you try something new, but the key is to put in the effort. Focus on WHY you want the results are after, and then take action!

Get your shoes on and go run! Don't think about it, just do it!

    four words:

    1. you
    2. can
    3. do
    4. it
  • Get back up.
We all have set backs, but there was a reason you wanted to change your lifestyle for the better, don't lose sight of that.
