    I never knew that cattle were lacking in social grace.

    But I do agree, it is pretty disgusting how some people eat in public these days.

    only been to an outback once, my food was ..well raw..lamb is not suposed to be served raw....right?
    but yeah manners are a bit lax....

    For the originator I hope many of you were full of good humor in your replies. I for one agree. I have worked on my neice for years to chew with her mouth closed and only speak once her mouth is empty. Yes, obviously we need to open our mouth to insert fork (or foot etc) but then it is proper to close it again when you chew. Ever seen the beginning of the movie "Miss Congeniality"? Sandra Bullock's charachter is a PRIME example- no pun as she was eating steak.

    And I personally didn't feel race was the totally wrong word to use but culture may have been a better option And since I have issues typing/spelling at times I will not criticise anyone posts if I know what the meaning is. And I would never rewrite a post as that is insulting. Again, manners.
