Alrighty. So, I'm relatively new at all of this and unfortunately, I have a timeline to lose a certain amount (61 lbs by June 1, 2013) and right now I'm doing Insanity and watching my intake. I was thinking about possibly lifting some weights to help my progress and body along. Problem being, I've got no experience, little money, young children w/ no baby sitting during the day, and a job at night. Can anyone point me in the right direction or give me some helpful hints to see if (a) I want to go down this path and (b) how to go about it properly?

Lifting at a gym, or at home? If at home, bands might be the way to go for resistance training (lifting).

Probably at home. I was going to the gym before I started Insanity but the only thing for people with kids only has 3 treadmills, 2 ellipticals, and a couple of stationary bikes.
