Confused about cardio and carbs

Ok so I have a question and it sounds pretty stupid....


Lets say I went over in my carb intake today.. Will extending my cardio help me burn off those extra carbs? :embarassed:

    Cardiovascular training is good for burning excess calories and if you wanted to target those calories in the form of carbs (glucose) higher intensity / short duration training should do the trick ;)

    Agreed. Cardio is a good way to burn excess cals. Where they come from/what type of cals they are doesn't matter a from a big picture weight loss standpoint.
