question for the ladies out there

Just wondering which parts of your body slimmed down first or if you had any particular order? I`ve always carried most of my weight in my hips and thighs, and at the moment I feel really disproportionate haha. When I bend down my spine and ribs(!) stick out in the back, but I feel like my thighs look pretty much the same. I know they`ll slim down eventually, I was just wondering if I`m the only one? :(
I`ve lost 9 inches off my waist(and it was fairly small to begin with!) and only 4 inches off my thighs. Argh.
