I increase my exercise problems adding calories

I struggled to eat enough calories any tips on adding calories with exercise? I Don't want to put my body in starvation mode by starting to exercise

  • I have no problem staying in my calorie limit without exercise Maybe I'll add pastas increase my carbohydrates?

    Calorie dense foods are where it's at, add a smoothie to bulk up your meals. On mornings that I work out I start with a 250-ish calorie smoothie with protein powder, almond milk, coffee, peanut butter & coconut oil. Gives me the energy I need for my workouts and then I go about my day as usual, with maybe an extra treat in the evening if I worked out extra hard.
