Different Types of Fats

I have been logging my daily food and exercise for only 3 days so far but am already seeing a pattern based on the foods I know I usually eat. my calories, carbs, and protein are all within the areas I would like them to be but I am always well over my goal on fats. Now I know there are different types of fat good fats (monounsaturated fats, and polyunsaturated fats) and bad fats (saturated fats and trans fats) Today for example I will be about 50g over on my fats goal. However if I am under on my bad fats goal then am I still good on my goals? most of my fats are coming from foods like eatings, peanut butter, mixed nuts, etc.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

You'll likely get a variety of opinions on this but here's mine:

I also routinely go over in fats, mainly all from healthy sources. Today for instance, between an apple and peanut butter as a snack, a serving of almonds, and my dinner that has mainly healthy fats (olive oil, avocado, etc.) I am over my daily goal on MFP. Quite frankly, I don't sweat it at all, so long as the fats are coming from real, whole foods and not from fast food or boxed food.

Bottom line- I do not worry if the fat comes from real food. As long as they aren't fats (particularly trans fats) from poor quality food, it's OK in my book.
