HELP! Advice on net :)

I work out at night after I get out of work and it varies between 7-8 pm. I don't get home till about 9:30 or 10 depending on how long I do at the gym. By the time I get home I am beat and just make a quick filling dinner. However since I usually burn about 500-600 and upwards amount of calories. I net below-for instance yesterday was WAY too low. Last night I preplanned my whole day not meal five because I am going to sushi tonight with a good friend after the gym. Instead of my usual morning protein shake I added oatmeal with egg whites, almond butter and blueberries. So my question is--what can I do to not net below 1,200 if I am working out at night--add more items to my meals throughout the day--I don't like going crazy with dinner since I fall asleep right after. Thanks guys!

I'm not sure I'm the one to reply with advise because I am currently struggling with some of your issues, but the one thing I do differently is eat dinner at 6:00, begin workouts at 7-7:30 and have a protein/recovery shake after I workout. Is that possible for you or are you trying to do fasting workouts? That would never work for me. I'm hungry after a workout and I've eaten dinner! The protein shake helps with that.
I look forward to seeing others post good advise!0
