anyone from South Carolina?
We originally planned to go on vacation to Myrtle Beach and Charleston at the end of August, but cancelled because my mom thought it was too hot (she thought it was still like 100 there)...it is now showing the temps in the mid 70s-upper 80s. We cancelled the vacation and were going to go more in October.
When is the better time to go? she is wanting to reschedule now for our original August date.....

I'm in NC, but only 4 hours away from MB and Charleston. The end of August it's still usually in the 90s. Early October it can still be really hot, or really nice.. just depending on how hot of a summer it is.0

I live in Charleston. The paper says this has been one of the hottest summers on record, but the consensus among my friends is this has been the mildest. It is still hot and humid though. Tons of vacationers come here in the summer, but I would not advise it.
Avoid June, July, August, September at all cost. October will be great. My favorite times are March, April, October, November. Better fishing, less boat traffic, cooler weather, no humidity. Myrtle Beach is fun but in a trashy kind of way. Charleston has many many high end restaurants. You will enjoy.0
