Combination Microwave Oven and accessories

Hi all,
Moving to a small flat soon and need a microwave. Have been considering a combination oven as I think it might be cheaper to run than a normal oven for one person? You know, the convection oven/grill/microwave ovens all-in-one. The one I am looking at is an "A rated energy" 900W, with oven from 40-220'C.
Surely warming the smaller space etc uses less energy so will be cheaper on electric? Apparantly you get crispy baked potatoes in 15mins, that's 75 mins quicker than I do now! I do try and be economical, but having an electric hob and large oven for one person isn't ideal.
So, are they as good as I hope? How many of you use the steamer bowls in them, any good? I have my George Foreman, so think that and the microwave for steaming rice/veggies or baked potatoes should suit me perfectly.
Hoping for a big YES and some tips/other things I can use it for to justify the extra cost over a regular microwave.
Also, has anyone used the rice steamer by tupperware? Does it work? I got a microwave egg poacher the other day and it's rubbish, either uncooked or hard!!
Thanks, Martin.

I have used a Panasonic combi for years, much quicker to warm up than a full oven and like you point out, jackets in no time at all. they are great at roasted veg and i use it to rest meat in at 110 after cooking in the pan.0

Thanks for the reply. I love roast veg, main reason I don't do much is because of having to heat the oven for one tray of veggies just for me. Another tick in the box for the combi-oven!0

Bought a samsung one on sale. The microwave part alone is brilliant compared to my old one! Looking forward to trying roast veggies in it!0
