HELP!!! Fantasy Football
Hi All...
HELP! I just joined my very league and I don't know what I'm doing. I'm doing the ESPN Fantasy League and we're doing our picks on Sunday. Don't ask me why we're doing it so early - I didn't set it up. My brother who is a big fantasy buff will be out of town and won't be able to help me so I'm kind of lost and don't know where to start looking, etc..
Any pointers will be helpful!

look at your scoring system and see what position will get you the most points (usually QB or RB) that's generally the player you want to draft first. The QBs with the big numbers can score a lot of points (Drew Brees, Tom Brady). But after the top tier, there is a collective group that are somewhat similar. For RBs, there are usually a handful that are top tier as well. RBs are getting trickier to pick, because so many teams are using a multiple back running attack, that sometimes there is a back on a team that gets yardage, but another that scores TDs more. Regardless, you'll probably want to take a RB and a QB in the first couple rounds.
take kickers and defense late.
try to find a rookie or 2 that will be getting a lot of playing time, and pick them late. they may be a sleeper pick for you. other sleepers could be taking a shot on someone coming back, like Peyton Manning or Randy Moss.0
