Polar F4 - help with the strap!

So I guess I am aiming this question at the ladies.... but guys feel free to chime in if you have an answer!
I just got my POlar F4 yesterday - super excited to use it in Zumba tonight for the first time! The instructions say to put the strap around your chest at the bottom on your chest muscles..... well, Im pretty sure my chest muscles are far beneath my boobs and therefore, I do not know where the bottom of my chest muscles are.
Im assuming the strap needs to be flat on my skin so should I just wear it under my boobs? And also does it go under my sports bra?
Help! I never thought my boobs would be a hinderance!

Yep just wear the strap right under your boobs, nice and tight, you can tuck it under the band of your sports bra.0

I wear mine just below my bra, the sensor is usually right about where my ribs meet my sternum. You may have to move it around a little looking at the watch and it should pick up your heart rate. Also a weird FYI, I have a polar and it tends to pick up your heart rate better if the strap behind the sensor is slightly damp. In other words rub a wet wash cloth or it or be gross like me and lick it!0

Hi we are hr monitor buddies, you will love it! I have enormous boobs, i lift em up and place the strap tight against my skin about a cm below the breast crease. Then sports bra band goes on top. Make sure the electrodes are really wet otherwise the pick up doesn't work. You MUST rinse it really well after every wear to get the salt and body lotion etc out. And wash in the machine every few weeks but don't use fabric conditioner. That's my tips! X0

Yes, the instructions said to wet it first which I thought was weird.0 -
