I feel like MFP sets my calorie goal too low. My BMR's about 1500, plus I exercise at high intensity for about 30 minutes 5-6 days a week and incorporate strength training. What do you guys think I should be eating as my net intake? I'm a girl, 18 years old, 5'3, and 130 pounds if that helps any haha.

I make sure I don't net below my BMR. I found this topic to be very helpful in setting my goals and figuring out how much I should eat - basically between my BMR and TDEE - there are links in the topic for tools to find these numbers and figure out how much you should be eating to meet your goals: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12
It's a great companion to MFP's tools!0 -
You can change them manually.
My BMR is 1800 and TDEE is 2400, so I have been netting between 1500-1900 every day.0 -
Amy- That really helped, thank you!
Yeah, I just changed my settings manually after calculating everything. Thanks.0
