Zone Bars - Yay or Nay?

My mother bought me a box of chocolate chip cookie dough Zone bars as a snack or breakfast item for me. I have never had one, let alone heard of one before... Are they really all that healthy?
My other concern is the amount of calories in them, 180 seems like a lot for breakfast or a snack, especially when I eat cucumber, or carrots, or fresh fruit for breakfast.
When I search Zone Bars I come up with pages and pages of "Zone Diet" and lists of places where I can purchase them, so I would really appreciate some input on them.
Do you consider Zone Bars healthy, why or why not?

I buy them for my kids (actually I buy the Market Pantry copycat version at Target) -- they're healthier than granola bars, candy bars, or pop tarts (which isn't saying all that much). They are <200 calories, have almost as much protein as they have sugar, and can survive in a backpack.
They are not a good trade-off for the type of breakfast you mention.0
