Hey!
So I am about to start week 4 of clean living and exercizing. But I am having a hard time in the past couple of days. I have barely worked out because i am so tired! I believe its due to the fact that im about to start my period.
Do any of you ladies get tired right before your period? thanks!

Are you getting enough food?0

Of course! For some reason fresh frozen blueberries give me a pick up during this time. I still try to work out but my body will only give about 60 or 70% but that's better than nothing. Still push yourself to do the right thing, even if you're not able to give it your all. And remember this too shall pass, well at lest until next month. LOL0

I'm exhausted before and during. I eat more calories and all that jazz, but I'm still dead to the world.0

Im pretty sure! Ive been eating all of my calories every day!0 -
Of course! It's a common PMS symptom! I HAVE noticed a decrease in all PMS symptoms (including tiredness!) with continued weight loss/exercise. BC helps, too0

I get almost lethargic before mine for at least a good three days. You're going to feel weak right now because your body is eliminating the toxins whether it be sugar or gluten etc from your body. I would definitely not stress yourself out and try to exercise today. If you don't have the energy, you don't have the energy. I feel like I get insomnia almost at and around that time of the month, and two things that I swear by, very affordable remedies that I take a few days before and during are, orange juice, vitamin C in pill form and liquid vitamin B complex. Even if you're perfectly healthy you can benefit from doing this a few days before and during your period. I am not a doctor obviously, but had lump removed from my breast a few years back and the doctor who drained my lump gave me this information. Try to eat more iron if you can. Low in iron causes exhaustion and thats the first thing to go during period is the iron levels, especially if you're a heavy bleeder. Sorry to say it like that lol but it's true. Eating certain meat is a good way to get the right kinds of iron but I do not eat meat and haven't for years. So I take supplements with iron in them and I wouldn't suggest going out and buying straight iron pills as they can be harmful.
What "clean living" program are you doing?0 -
Are there women who don't get tired around period time? That's a huge part of it. Sleepy, weepy, achy and hungry are the four horsemen of the period apocalypse.0

Fatigue is definitely a TOM symptom! I become a zombie on my first day. It gets worse with age (for me anyways)!0 -
